Je suis impatiente d’entendre parler de vos priorités et préoccupations pour notre communauté. S’il vous plaît contactez-moi par courriel ou sur ma page de Facebook, j’ai hâte d’avoir de vos nouvelles.
If you’d like to assist with or contribute to my campaign, I would be appreciative for your support. Donations, help with door to door canvassing, introductions to friends and neighbours are all welcome!
In addition to my time as Mayor, and role as one of 10 Mayors who sits at the Council table of the United Countries of Leeds and Grenville, I have been vocal advocate for our community, building on my extensive experience engaging governments at the local, provincial, national, and international levels.
Throughout, I have built relationships with senior elected officials within every major political party at the federal and provincial levels as well as key leaders in the private and public sectors.
As a Mayor and formerly a leader in the not-for-profit sector, I have been successful in securing millions of dollars in financial support and sponsorships for a number of innovative national programs.
For these efforts, I am widely respected and recognized as an effective Mayor, champion, and advocate, something I will continue to bring to the residents of North Grenville job as mayor.
In 2014, I was recognized for my work by the Women’s Executive Network as one of the Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada, and I remain an active member of that network.
COMMITTED TO THE COMMUNITY:
Many years ago, my family and I made the decision to re-locate to North Grenville with a desire to raise a family in a small and caring community, similar to my own small-town roots.
After many conversations with family, friends & neighbours, I was encouraged to run for mayor because many are concerned that rapid growth is threatening our small-town feel. Since becoming Mayor in 2018, I have brought dynamic and focused leadership to the many challenges and opportunities that North Grenville has faced.
Through the establishment of 10 Municipal Advisory Committees, and the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee, this Council has sought to ensure that we leverage the talents and energy of so many community members.
